That’s true, William. The erosion the past few months has been significant. It is hard to see the changes that are rapidly occurring on the bluff. It’s such a beautiful place.

Years ago, I mean a long time ago, my wife and I would take our children, first by backpack, then by the hand and later by following along the ‘Sconset Bluff walk to the Sankaty Lighthouse from ‘Sconset Village.

Nature gives and nature takes away.

Oh, much sooner, maybe this year. The house above has lost 10 feet of yard in the last few months.
