Dionis

Our business, ACKsite, did the photography and web gallery for this Dionis property which is for sale. I don’t usually post about our architectural photography here, but this assignment has given us an opportunity to do some landscape photography also.

Here is a link to the presentation. It isn’t totally complete – we will add some other media such as a video later.

What a view! What a house! Sorry, cottage! I’m not sure I believe my eyes, that is a rainbow, isn’t it?

Wow, spectacular rainbow-beach-bluffs-sand path photograph. What a beautiful place. Am I reading the right number, is that $5,975,000 for a 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage on 2 acres? As they would say in Texas, “They’re proud of that land on Nantucket, aren’t they?” Quite a place. I sure would be sad to have to move my house or watch it fall down the cliff after spending that kind of money on it.

This house is in a more protected area than many others. There isn’t as much erosion here as it faces Nantucket Sound and not the ocean. About half of Nantucket is protected land that can’t be built on so water front property is expensive. The views are tremendous and Dionis has a pretty curving stretch of beach. If you have kids, it is one of the safer beaches for them to swim in as the surf is fairly tame here. This house would have great sunrise views also. Plus, it is close to bike paths and some great walking areas like Sanford Farm.

Nice job. Loved the time-lapse video with the clouds rolling by and the airliners going across.
